I am currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Organizational Psychology at Capella University. My studies focus on the intersection of human behavior, workplace systems, and organizational development—equipping me with advanced skills in research, program evaluation, leadership theory, and change management. My coursework emphasizes trauma-informed leadership, diversity and inclusion, psychological safety, and evidence-based strategies to enhance team performance and organizational health.

This degree deepens my ability to help nonprofits not just secure funding, but also build sustainable, equitable, and resilient organizations. It also strengthens the consulting services I offer, as I draw directly from current research to inform my strategies and support client success.

My master’s degree in Applied Psychology provided a strong foundation in human behavior, psychological theory, and data-driven decision-making. Through this program, I developed key skills in program evaluation, needs assessment, and organizational development—all of which I apply directly to my work with nonprofits. The degree emphasized ethical practice, cultural competency, and applying psychological principles to real-world challenges in community and workplace settings.
